Information
Cathedral Rock is located in Sedona. It is another trail that is very well traveled and photographed. There is limited parking at this trail, so it's important to show up early, or plan to park down the street in overflow parking. There is a bathroom located in the parking lot.
Trail Length
This trail is 1.2 miles out and back. Hikers generally take an average of one to two hours.
Open
This trail is open year round. Please be sure to take care during snowy/ice times as this trail could be dangerous.
Elevation
This trail has an elevation gain of 700-800 feet.
Difficulty
This trail can be difficult. It's important to wear shoes with a good grip. The end of the trail requires a steep climb up.
Dogs
This trail is dog friendly, so long as they remain leashed.
